Working together

What good
collaboration needs.

Personal advice depends on trust, clear agreements and reliable information. When both sides know their part, we can focus on what helps you move forward.

Our part. Your part.

Work reliably.
Move forward together.

These principles describe how we aim to work with you. We agree specific tasks, responsibilities and dates to suit your engagement.

01 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Clear tasks. Clear responsibility.

What you can expect from us

We agree which services we will provide and who your contacts will be. We also clarify which entities, taxes and periods are covered by our engagement. We discuss any additional advisory needs with you.

What we need from you

Tell us what support you need and agree new tasks with us. For new matters with deadlines already running, we clarify together what work is required and what is possible.

02 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Complete documents. Reliable figures.

What you can expect from us

We explain what information we need and raise any apparent gaps or uncertainties. We agree how documents will be provided and who is responsible for retention and archiving.

What we need from you

Provide complete, legible and accurate documents by the agreed dates. Flag missing documents or uncertain information. Retain original documents and original electronic files in accordance with legal requirements and our agreements; sending them to us for processing does not replace agreed archiving arrangements.

03 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Keep deadlines in view together.

What you can expect from us

We monitor deadlines within the scope of our engagement and agree when we need documents, answers and approvals. We allow time for review, follow-up questions and submission. If difficulties become apparent, we discuss the possible next steps with you.

What we need from you

Meet the agreed handover dates and answer questions in good time. These dates come before statutory deadlines. If documents will arrive late, let us know immediately. Late documents do not automatically extend statutory deadlines; we agree the next steps and possible measures together.

04 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Share digitally. Transfer securely.

What you can expect from us

We set up suitable DATEV access with you and explain the agreed channels for documents, data and questions. If technical problems arise, we agree a suitable transfer method with you.

What we need from you

Use the agreed applications and keep personal login details confidential. Clearly flag short deadlines and also call us about urgent matters. An upload or automated acknowledgement confirms receipt, but does not yet confirm when the matter will be handled. Contact us directly if you have transfer problems.

05 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Discuss changes in good time.

What you can expect from us

We put your questions in context and explain the tax implications before you make a decision, provided we are involved in good time.

What we need from you

Involve us before important steps such as investments, contracts, shareholdings, property transactions, gifts or matters involving another country. Tell us promptly about changes that have already occurred, including changes to addresses, bank details, responsibilities and access permissions.

06 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Review. Clarify. Approve.

What you can expect from us

We provide results and the necessary explanations through the agreed channel. We answer outstanding questions and tell you when we need your feedback or approval.

What we need from you

Check the details relating to your circumstances and flag any discrepancies. Answer questions and provide the required approvals by the agreed dates. Check the agreed digital inboxes and notifications regularly. If something is unclear, ask us.

07 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Keep services and fees transparent.

What you can expect from us

We agree the scope of services and fees with you. If the scope changes, we discuss the additional tasks and their fees.

What we need from you

Review our proposal and agreements, raise any open points and pay invoices on the agreed terms. Discuss uncertainties or payment difficulties with us so that we can agree how to proceed.

08 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Keep it personal. Work with mutual respect.

What you can expect from us

We communicate clearly and respectfully. We group questions where it makes sense and agree a suitable setting for our discussions.

What we need from you

Direct questions to the agreed contact and state the matter, the entity concerned and important dates. Arrange cover during holidays or illness where feedback or approvals may be needed. Both sides treat each other professionally and respectfully.

09 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Review assessments. Keep track of payments.

What you can expect from us

We review assessments within the scope of our engagement and discuss discrepancies and any necessary appeals with you. We distinguish between appeal deadlines and payment dates.

What we need from you

Forward assessments and official letters you receive directly to us without delay, in full and with all attachments. Tell us the actual date of receipt; for formally served documents, include the envelope. Also call us if a deadline is short. Ensure payments are made on time unless otherwise agreed. An appeal alone generally does not defer payment; any further measures required are agreed separately.

10 / WORKING WELL TOGETHER

Coordinate payroll and staffing in good time.

What you can expect from us

If we handle your payroll, we agree dates and transfer methods for employee and payroll data. We clarify which notifications we will submit and what information is required.

What we need from you

Report starters, leavers, pay changes, working hours and absences by the agreed dates. Tell us about new employment before work begins. Where an immediate social security notification (Sofortmeldung) is required, it must be submitted no later than the start of employment. Discuss short-notice hires directly with us, including who is responsible for the notification.

If something is not running smoothly

Let us talk
about it.

A missing document, a new priority or an unclear invoice: contact us so that we can clarify the situation together and agree the next step.
